Trust me I don't spend too much time at the computer. What I do to help the environment is not waste and take only what I need whenever possible. I belong to a environmental action group at my college, which attempts to enlighten people in much the manner I have with this post. Most people, unlike you, however, don't take such offense to these ideas. If they disagree, they are at least willing to listen, and don't act like a child.

Oh yeah, you said "And I understand that you didn't know that you were contributing to the excesses that so many Americans take for granted. I was just like you when I was your age." This is called making assumptions. If you bothered to listen to me you would see that I acknowledged that I was contributing to excess, and am trying to stop that, and encourage others to as well. Once again, if you don't like this idea, fine, but don't bother posting here. You may think I'm just some young idealist, and you know so much more about life and that one day I'll be old and cynical. I don't really care, you're welcome to hold that belief, trust me, I've heard it before, so please stop bothering me with your inane comments.
