If somebody is opening me up, I do not want them playing little harmless games. It's just not a procedure that should be treated anything but seriously, I don't care if it's routine as filling an ice cube tray.
On the flip side, I don't know about all the things the family is persuing it for. Strain on the relationship? Emotionally scarring the children?
