I agree wholeheartedly with you about the fact that George W. is not the man to conduct this war, but I must make one small point: America as a nation must support this war as a war when it is declared as a war.
If you look at what happened in Vietnam you'll see what consequences we may face if we don't support our country. Vietnam was never actually declared as a war and therefore not all of the resources neccessary to defeat North Vietnam were available. This in turn generated a loss of life that could have been avoided, and a nation bitter at its government and servicemen.
Now I see protests of the action against Iraq on television and I notice a grim similarity between those and others I have seen regarding Vietnam--and I'm afraid that if Bush doesn't get his head out of his ass and Americans don't get their heads out of their asses, then this situation could expand into a major world conflict that everyone may regret.
