That everyone should look down on Disneyland. Itis the epitomy of bad taste, commercialism, and insipidness.
...the epitomy of successful capitalism. Take a simple idea and market the hell out of it and sell it to everyone. It's spread around the world because people like the idea of having a family vacation spot with a recognizable, brand name. Humans love convenience. In addition, you can't blame just America for the "evils" of Disneyland, since other countries have eagerly and with open-arms welcomed such sites into their lands, economies and, yes, their cultures.
