That a rebuttal to the State of the Union address isn't supposed to be a campaign.
All this Locke guy is offering is unbacked promises, just like the President, since they can't give real proof Live, just trying to get people to believe him by using different words. Trying to differentiate from the Republicans while still promising the same things the President just did. He's putting forward his response as a "Democratic Plan." Even though the Republicans are "in power," it doesn't mean the plan set forward is supposed to be taken as the "Republican plan." Lord, toot your own horn, why don't you?
Any other Republicans, or at least conservatives, out there who can maybe offer some thoughts? I just get too upset over the way the Democratic party tries to treat people like morons and explain why they're working for us.
Oh, and here's one, isn't continued (ie neverending) affirmative action etc catering to interests groups? No offense to anyone who has been seriously discriminated against, but to quote a conservative radio host many hate out of spite, "When does it stop being aid and become revenge?"
