The populace of the UK's opinion differs wildly depending upon which polls you read. I would say split down the middle.
Integration tends to suit Germany and France, whether it suits the rest of the countries completely is another question. In economic terms (with the exception of the UK) yes it does, however the price they pay for the economic benefits is a very high one.
