Are the relations between Germany and UK that bad right now though? Because of this?

Not as bad as between the US and Germany though, however British papers have run several stories about Chancellor Schroeder which have soured relations.

Oh btw; Will you vote about EMU soon too? And how is the opinions about it there? Does it look like you will join?

In theory there is supposed to be a vote this year. It won't happen because Blair knows he wouldn't win. Depending upon which poll you look at gives different results. The No camp ranges from between 60-80% of the vote though.
