First off, I dont have $20K to deal out for a Civic Hybrid, and second, at 6'4 it is fairly hard to find a car that I can sit in without having to drive with my knees. So in a way, I guess you could say that I enjoy having an SUV, since I can fit in the damn thing.

I dont necessarily like the humongous SUVs like the Excursion, but I have 5 (until last year 6) people (4 of them over 6') in my family and a sedan makes it difficult to move that amount of people efficiently. I recently got a '94 Explorer, which I believes gets around 17mpg, which isnt great, but I can deal with it.
