I understand what you're saying. I find it scarily humorous to see the soccer moms, really, especially the ones barely able to see over the wheel. Like a mouse on a John Deere.

However, you really could be considerably more polite, or at least amusing, in your harangue, and less preachy about the Hybrid. I might buy a Hybrid if I had the money, but I agree, it's funny-looking. I don't like the car shapes out there anymore. Bleh. But that aside... yeah, we're wasteful. It's sad. My dad doesn't need the Highlander, but there it is. Nothing I can do.

What really bugs me is a "Sport Utility Vehicle" on a car chassis. That's just... wrong. Really kinda take out the utility, imho.
