But I am definately happy to address it here. The European Nations have tried strongly to get the United States to meet the world wide standards set two years or so ago in a summit (I forget which). Time and time again, the government has simply not moved to support these emissions standards. It is very unfortunate that lobbying corporations have more control over the minds of the politicians than the environment around them. Here in Michigan, about ten years ago the state of Michigan built many emissions testing facilities where vehicles were mandated to meet the standards. The funding for the buildings was cut and Michigan was left with many empty buildings and growing emissions problems. I believe we would see a much brighter environment if we could meet the standards of Japanese and other foreign car makers. When the rest of the country needs to start waking up in the morning to smog alerts and increased health problems, they will see exactly how important increased emissions standards would've been if they were placed on vehicles now rather than 20 years from now when the problem is out of hand.
Hey
You're a crazy bitch
But you fuck so good, I'm on top of it
When I dream, I'm doing you all night
Scratches all down my back to keep me right on
