I have to admit that your family is the exception to the rule. But graduating from high school just a year ago, almost every person in my high school had two or three siblings and if it was any larger than that, one or two of the siblings had already moved out. So I think it is safe to say that most families have 2 or 3 kids living in the house with them at one time. Granted there are cases where this isn't true like your family for instance.
