Atheism is in no way a religion. Atheism is the lack of a single specific belief--that in deities. An atheist can hold any view that does not contradict that view. Did I make it seem like I wasnt aware of that? i seem to remember stating quite clearly that i was basing this on the practices of the so called "Atheists" that i myself am aquanted with. Yes I know that the very definition of athesim imparts that there should be NO practices, but an individual's religion hardly tends to be a by-the-book thing, no pun intended.

Atheism is not a religion. It is not even a belief system. You jump to conclusions in an effort to make yourself appear more intelligent at the expense of others. Ignorance is all that can be said to describe a man who tells another man that his opinions are wrong.
