The prayers of many will be with you through this, myself included. But your title is right; death is just a beginning. A very painful one, but still one. I think maybe the best I've heard it said was in The Princess Bride:
"Hear this now; I will always come for you."
"But how can you be sure?"
"This is true love. You think this happens everyday?"
But above that:
"Death cannot stop true love; all it can do is delay it for a while."
He's there, beyond reach and sight, but he's there and you'll always have that. It'll be all right, or at the least bearable. We're all pulling for you, deary. I am truly sorry for your loss. *offers many hugs*
