In the original Hebrew Text, the opening of Genesis states El Elohiem, Which means God of Gods. This indicates that the name of God is one of several titles rather than a specific name. Infact throughout Hebrew, Christian, Islamic and (gasp)"Mormon" scriptures this pattern of several name/titles of deity is found to be VERY preeminent. In other words, what ever you call him, if he is your God, He will answer.
If you doubt my claim, check out Isaiah, and Genesis.
