Wow isnt that simply the most arogant statement ever made? Anyway its true. I dont consider it as something worth spending time mulling over. Everyone has a belief system, and Athelism is a religion in practice, though perhaps not in ideal. The only difference, in practice again from the Atheists i have had the pleasure of discussing this with, is that some religions require an outside personification in the form of a god, whereas Atheism requires that one look within for self-guidance and faith, and morals and so on. Just thought i'd comment.
Atheism is in no way a religion. Atheism is the lack of a single specific belief--that in deities. An atheist can hold any view that does not contradict that view.
