I don't recall anything about McDonald's being anti-union. But they could be. I just researched it, and basically it's a struggle against minimum wage and bad hours. Which is basically the case in almost every single food service industry.
does not make it right, though.
I also looked into that. The main deal with McDonald's is that they use waaaay too much packaging and are creating far too much litter.
I am positive there was something about the rainforest, though. I shall have to look into it when I have time. What you have mentioned is bad enough, though.
Alright, this part I don't understand. Basically, you're pissed off because they refuse to increase their burger size because it would risk the workers? And it seems unlikely to get injured from a burger, but McDonald's doesn't just make one burger a day. Working in food service is hard work and you get subjected to cuts, burns, etc. Not saying that huge burgers would cause the problems, but another reason for not increasing burger size is cooking time. If the burger size was increased, then the cooking time would increase and the service would be slower. It's a trade off.
what do you mean?
1. I am not pissed off because they refuse to increase their burger size, I just say that is an additional reason why I would never eat there.
2. How can it risk the workers?
3. Working in food service is hard work and you get subjected to cuts, burns etc. I never denied that, and it is just another reason why they should have proper rights
